Physiotherapy

Provides evidence-based evaluation and management of musculoskeletal pain conditions with the goal of maximizing our patient’s function and abilities.

We will use hands on tools such as IMS/Dry Needling and exercise prescription. Click the link above to see some video tips!

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems.

Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved.

Massage decreases the physical dysfunction of pain and stress.

We direct bill!

Prolotherapy

An injection therapy designed to build new tissue, heal and stabilize joints.

Mild solutions into appropriate tissues stimulate the healing process and the body’s ability to generate healthier tissue.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections are used for rapid recovery from certain injuries.

The process involves collecting the patient's blood, removing and concentrating the blood platelets, and re-injecting the sample back at the site of injury, under ultrasound guidance.

Concussion Program

Our physiotherapists are some of the world's foremost researchers, clinicians and authors on concussion treatment and research.

We follow the protocols of Parachute Canada to assess and treat the vestibular, oculomotor and musculoskeletal aspects of concussion.

We may use Frenzel goggles for additional diagnosis of concussion patients.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

From benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) to more advanced disorders, the inner ear and sensory parts of your brain can all affect your vision, dizziness and other vertigo symptoms.

Physiotherapists with additional training can diagnose and treat many of these conditions.

We also employ the use of Frenzel goggles for additional diagnosis and treatment of vestibular and concussion conditions.

Shockwave Therapy

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (commonly called shockwave) is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to promote healing in damaged tissue.

It has become increasingly popular in recent years as an effective alternative to more invasive treatments, for a variety of chronic pain conditions.

We use shockwave for many chronic conditions including but not limited to plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow and other unresolved conditions.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Pelvic health physiotherapy is a specialized physiotherapy treatment for urinary or anal/fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, lumbopelvic pain, painful intercourse (dyspareunia) and perinatal conditions.

Treatment is customized to each patient and often integrates pelvic floor muscle re-training, helpful advice on bowel and bladder habits, nutrition and hands-on techniques from the therapist.

Treatments are conducted in a private room.

Fluoroscopic-guided interventional pain procedures

Trained radiologists and physiatrists perform X-ray-guided injections of pain relieving medication into target specific joints (spine, hips, shoulders, etc) for the purpose of diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pain.

Our health care professionals provide a comprehensive assessment to determine which patients should be referred for these procedures.

Whiplash Consultation

Please contact us for a consultation regarding all clinical and expert witness services.

Please submit requests in writing so that an Evidence Sport and Spine staff member can contact you to confirm the appropriate testing required and an estimation of the cost incurred.

Patients will then be contacted and appointments booked for an appropriate period of time.

Lawyers and legal offices are encouraged to contact us in regards to assignment of proceeds cases.
